Another Birth
My entire soul is a dark verse repeating you within itself carrying you to the dawn of eternal blossoming and growing up
In this verse, I sighed you, AH!
In this verse, I grafted you to trees, water and fire
Perhaps life is a long street a woman with a basket passes through every day
Perhaps life is a rope which a man hangs himself with from a branch
Perhaps life is a child returning home from school
Perhaps life is lighting a cigarette in the interval between two lovemakings
Perhaps life is dizzy passage of a passerby taking his hat off and saying good morning to another passerby with a vacant smile
Perhaps life is that blocked moment when my glance destroys itself in the pupils of your eyes
And in this there is a sense which I will mix with the perception of the moon and the reception of darkness

L'odeur de la rivière Amou-Daria

What is it of your business?!
If the cup of wine is in my hand, what is it of your business?
If you are sitting in the corner of altar, does anybody ask you why?
Now that I'm sitting in the corner of pub, what is it of your business?
If you are busy with prayers, what does it have to do with me?
And if I'm drunk all night to dawn, what is it of your business?
If the fire of hell is intended for you and me,
if you are dry, what is it of my business and if I'm wet, what is it of your business?!

Garden of Eden!
My father (Adam) sold the "Garden of Eden" (paradise) for two grains of wheat.
I would not be his son if I didn't sell it for a barley!

Drink wine because... (Bois du vin parce que...)
You know what do harp and oud present? Drink wine in private otherwise they punish!
They take away the honor of love and the boom of lovers, find the faults of youngsters and blame the oldsters.
Nothing was yielded but a dark heart and they still mistakenly fancy that they make elixir.
They say not to tell and hear the secret of love; the problem is the story which they present.
From outside the door, we are proud of one hundred deceptions while they devise by themselves inside the curtains.
They perturb the time of the magus oldster; look what these devotees do with the oldster!
One hundred estates of heart can be bought with a half-look; the good people lose in this deal.
One tribe endeavors to attain the friend; another leaves it to the destiny.
Absolutely don’t trust the stability of the universe that is like a factory which they change
Drink wine because mufti and hafiz and religious agent all falsify if you look well!

My Homeland (Vatanam)

Injured but tall and straight, she is long-lasting like a huge mountain.
Alexander went, but she remained; stony lion broke but the deer remained.
Although Arab cruelly ruined her Bistoon, Taq-i Kisra and Ctesiphon; to wipe out any sign of Iran
But she came out of the soil again, like a flower; my homeland, this pure clean water.
Many centuries have passed, and she’s still alive; my homeland has drunk the life water!

Google Seach, Why Are ...?!

You must have noticed if you enter some words in Google search box, it tries to guess what you’re actually looking for based on the previous searches made by other people.
I put “why are french” and autocomplete results were:
“
why are french fries called french fries
why are french called frogs
why are french people so rude
why are french women so beautiful
why are french women thin
why are french women so skinny
why are french fries bad for you
why are french bulldogs expensive
why are french people so skinny
why are french people arrogant
“
The same way for “why are iranian” resulted in
“
why are iranian women so beautiful
why are iranians white
why are iranians not arabs
why are iranians called persians
why are iranians protesting
“
For “why are persians”
“
why are persian women so beautiful
why are persians rich
why are persian rugs expensive
why are persians so rich
why are persians so rude
“
And for “why are americans”
“

why are americans afraid of dragons
why are americans so fat
why are americans so ignaorant
why are americans called yankees
why are americans afraid of socialism

Forough Farrokhzad

The talk is not about the weak link between the two names
Nor the embracing in the old pages of a book
The talk is about my lucky hairs
With your kisses that are like burnt poppies
And intimacy of our bodies, in imposture
And the shine of our naked bodies
Like the fish scales in water

The Kids of Iran

Kids, This part is called Asia
Shape of a cat seems familiar here
This cat’s eyes are looking for you
Kids, This cat is our Iran...
Kids, this lovely homeland
Has many enemies in ambush
Has sadness in heart and in brow
She’s been called Great Persia since ancient times
She's the pure souvenir of the Aryan people
Kids, this beautiful flag
The flag of green, white and red
Has both the signs of peace and war
A pain in the hearts of jealous enemies
Our honor to it is endless
Kids, this is the home to our ancestors
It has been destroyed; eager to improve
Tired of dictatorship lash
Remedy to its problems is FREEDOM
Remedy to its problems is FREEDOM
Kids, this is your future job
This, is your future job
